Glock 19 Factory Spring Weight - I'm not really sold on adding an aftermarket grill, but after seeing my better half on stage with his 17 grill, I thought it might be worth a shot. I had him order a SS guide rod with a 17 pound spring. My girlfriend likes to rotate the gun, and while the difference isn't as great as the tungsten reticle, it helped with her recoil and positioning. This was my first order with the metal pin added control kit. Shipping was fast and they had great communication and understanding throughout the process.
Good construction, well made and almost in place. At first I had a compression problem in the spring. Using a little force I was able to loosen the retaining washer. I noticed a piece of lockite on the guide rod opposite the base of the set screw. It held the washing machine and would not let go. I deleted the rest and now it works fine. You may want to look into this or warn users. At first I thought it was broken.

Very happy fell on the ground no problem. I noticed it was not color sealed for the different springs and had a retaining washer not shown in the picture. After seeing this I decided to weigh it on my digital scale and it weighed 25.6 grams so I took the assembly to work and weighed it on a digital paint scale and got the same weight of 25.6 not 28.3 as advertised. Although I am very happy with the part in my gun performing flawlessly after several hundred rounds. I highly recommend this update.

It seems to fit well didn't take a picture though, the only reason for the 4 stars was what was mentioned before, they had a red lock on the end that goes into the frame, I had to remove it and work it. . It was a long time before I heard the whisper. It seems to be working fine manually now, but I'll test it tomorrow, if it works fine my review will change to 5 stars.. if it has problems it will drop from 4
Up to 20 lb of recoil spring on the .40 S&W G22 eliminates high-speed slide-frame float and FTFs that occur when a light is placed on a Gen 3 rail. These problems are caused by an insufficient 17 lb. reverse spring, which is common. 9mm with G17. It also reduces feelings of depression. The added weight and strength of the stainless steel guide rod is a nice bonus.
It is well made and appears to be made of good quality materials. It is better than the OEM Glock recoil spring assembly and improved my custom G17 build.
I gained 17 kg. "Competition Recoil Spring" in my Glock 17, Gen 4. Cleaned and oiled and loaded in my gun with no problems. Gen 4 requires an "adapter ring". When cycling the slide assembly by hand, it seemed to wear out as I felt and felt a slight grinding/rubbing. I then checked the slide, lower frame housing and barrel and found no problems. The spring was touching the guide post.

I shot over 100 rounds (medium powder charge). He did it flawlessly. Casing removal was good, spin around was excellent and the recoil seemed to come off a bit.
My pair of controls coming out of boarding were true. Also, when doing tactical speed drills, I was able to consistently find targets quickly and shoot accurately (15 yards).
18 lb stainless steel competition rod for Gen 3 G19...not delivered just a day before, a must for any Glock handgun. I can feel the difference/improvement in all aspects of the 19 in my hands. Can't wait to put more rounds in it.
